The floating bead insulation brick is a heat-insulating refractory product made of floating beads as the main raw material, and the color is dark pink. Floating beads are aluminum silicate glass hollow beads flotated from the fly ash of thermal power plants. It is light in body, thin in wall, hollow, smooth in surface and good in heat insulation.
Using these excellent characteristics of floating beads, light-weight thermal insulation refractory materials with good thermal insulation performance can be manufactured.
The specifications of floating bead insulation bricks are the same as those of normal refractory bricks 230*114*65mm.

Heat preservation and heat insulation:
During the manufacturing process of aerated concrete, tiny pores are formed inside, and these pores form an air layer in the material, which greatly increases the effect of heat preservation and heat insulation.

With small volume density,low thermal conductivity,excellent insulation performance and stable quality,the high aluminum poly light insulation brick can be used for lining or insulation of high temperature furnace.The insulation brick is a kind of light refractory material consisting of mullite and glass phase or corundum.The alumina content is above 48%,volume density 0.4~1.35g/cm3, volume density of porosity 66%~73%,the compressive strength 1~8MPa,good performance in thermal shock resistance.Generally mix the high aluminum bauxite with some clay,grind the mixture and use the gas evolution method or the foam method to cast and form,then put the bricks in the kiln of 1300~1500C sintering and finished.When getting in touch with the flame,the temperature of the surface is not allowed to be above 1350C.

1. Refractoriness

The characteristics of high aluminum products are as follows:
(1) Softening temperature under load. The softening temperature under load of ordinary high-alumina refractory products is generally above 1420~1550C, which is higher than that of clay-based refractory products, and increases with the increase of Al2O3 content. When Al2O3<70%, its softening temperature under load increases with the increase of the number ratio of mullite phase and glass phase, and the quantity and nature of liquid phase have a significant effect on softening temperature under load, so reduce the impurity content in raw materials, It is beneficial to improve the softening temperature under load and high temperature creep; when Al2O3> 70%, with the increase of Al2O3 content, the softening temperature under load does not increase significantly.
(2) Thermal shock resistance. The thermal shock resistance of ordinary high alumina refractory products mainly depends on the chemical mineral composition and microstructure. Generally worse than clay products.
(3) Chemical resistance. Ordinary high alumina refractory products have good resistance to acid or alkaline slag, molten metal corrosion, oxidation, and reduction reactivity, and it increases with the increase of Al2O3 content and the decrease of harmful impurity content.
High-alumina products are generally used in industrial kilns such as blast furnaces, hot blast stoves, and electric furnaces.
The physical and chemical indicators of high alumina bricks are divided into LZ-80, LZ-75, LZ-65, LZ-55, LZ-48, and several grades.

Clay bricks , clay bricks are mainly made of mullite ( 25 % --50 ) , glass phase ( 25%-60% ) , cristobalite and quartz( about 30 % ) . Usually hard clay is used as the raw material , the mature material is pre-calcined , and then mixed with soft clay , which is formed by semi-dry or plastic method , and the temperature is 1300-1400 C to burn clay brick products . It is a refractory brick commonly used in blast furnaces , hot blast stoves , heating furnaces , power boilers , lime kilns rotary kilns , ceramics and refractory brick firing kilns.
Load softening temperature of clay refractory bricks:
Because clay refractory bricks appear in a liquid phase at a lower temperature and begin to soften , if they are subjected to external force , they will deform , so the load softening temperature of clay bricks is much lower than the refractoriness . Around 1350℃.
Slag resistance :
Clay refractory bricks are weakly acidic refractory bricks , which can resist the erosion of acid slag , but their resistance to the erosion of alkaline slag is slightly worse.
Thermal shock resistance：
Clay refractory bricks have a small thermal expansion coefficient and good thermal shock resistance . The number of water cooling at 850℃ is generally 10 to 15 times.
High temperature volume stability :
Clay refractory bricks recrystallize at high temperatures , which reduces the volume of refractory bricks and produces a liquid phase at the same time . Due to the action of the surface tension of the liquid phase , the solid particles are close to each other, the porosity is reduced , and the volume of the refractory bricks is reduced . Clay bricks shrink under the action of high temperature.
Uses of clay refractory bricks :
Clay refractory brick widely used in metallurgy , building materials , chemical industry , petroleum , machinery manufacturing ,silicate , power and other industrial fields.
For example , low temperature parts such as blast furnace , hot blast furnace , iron furnace , open hearth , electric furnace and glass melting furnace are all built with clay bricks . In addition , ladle , refractory bricks for pouring system , heating furnace , heat treatment furnace , combustion chamber , flue , Chimneys , etc can be built with clay bricks.

Clay bricks are required on various industrial kilns:
Clay bricks for blast furnaces are used for the throat, shaft, hearth, bottom and shaft of large blast furnace linings for small blast furnaces. Requirements for blast furnace clay bricks: high compressive strength at room temperature, which can resist the long-term operation wear of the charge; small volume shrinkage under high temperature and long-term operation, which is conducive to maintaining the integrity of the furnace lining; low apparent porosity and low Fe2O3 content, reducing carbon deposition in pores , to prevent the brick from being damaged due to expansion and looseness during use; the formation of low-melting substances is less.
Clay bricks for hot blast stoves require: good heat resistance, high softening temperature under load, and small creep. They are mainly used for regenerators and partition walls of hot blast stoves.
The large-scale mellow clay bricks for glass kilns are clay bricks with a single weight of not less than 50kg used for building glass kilns.
Clay bricks also have permanent layers for various other stoves. Of course, the brick type depends on the different designs of different furnaces.

Clay knife edge bricks are classified as weak acid refractories. Due to the large fluctuation range of chemical composition, different production methods, and differences in firing temperature, the properties of clay bricks change greatly. Ordinary clay bricks are divided into three trademarks: (NZ)-40, (NZ)-35, (NZ)-30 according to the content of AI2O3 in the composition. The refractoriness of clay bricks is above 1600 ℃, but the starting temperature of softening under load is very low, only 1250-1300 ℃, and the distance between the starting temperature and the final temperature (ie 40% deformation temperature) of load softening is very large, this distance is about 200- 250°C. This property of clay bricks is very important, which makes clay bricks suitable for many high-temperature thermal equipment despite their low refractoriness. Clay bricks have good resistance to rapid cooling and rapid heating, and the number of times of water cooling at 850 ° C can reach 10-25 times. Clay bricks can resist the corrosion of weak acid slag, and the resistance to alkaline slag is slightly worse. Increasing the content of AI2O3 can improve the ability of resisting alkaline slag.

Clay bricks are made of clay clinker as aggregate and refractory clay (soft clay or semi-soft clay) as binder to make refractory materials with Al2O content of 30%~ 48%. It is a kind of widely used, the largest yield of refractory products.

The properties of clay products fluctuate in a wide range because of differences in chemical composition and production techniques.
Clay products generally have the following properties:
(1) Chemical and mineral composition. Al2O3 content is 30%~ 48%, SiO2 content is 50%~ 65% and a small amount of alkali metal, alkali earth metal oxide TiO2, Fe2O3, etc. Mineral composition is generally: mullite, quartz and quartz, glass phase.
(2) The refractoriness is generally 1580~1750C, which increases with the increase of Al2O3/SiO2. When the content of low-molten impurities is high, the refractoriness of the product decreases significantly.
(3) The softening temperature under load is about 1250~ 1450C, which has a wide range of variation. The initial deformation temperature is low, with a difference of about 200~ 250C from the 40% deformation temperature.
(4) The linear expansion coefficient is low, and the thermal conductivity is also low.
(5) Good thermal shock resistance, large fluctuation range. 1100C water cooling cycles are generally greater than 10 times. This is due to the low linear expansion coefficient, insignificant transformation effect and plasticity at high temperature.
(6) Resistance to chemical erosion: because it is weak acid, it has strong resistance to acid slag erosion, and weak resistance to alkaline erosion.

The refractoriness of high-quality clay bricks is comparable to that of silica bricks, as high as 1690-1730 °C, but the softening temperature under load is more than 200 °C lower than that of silica bricks. Because in addition to the mullite crystals with high refractoriness, the clay bricks also contain nearly half of the low melting point amorphous glass phase.
1. High-quality clay brick products are divided into three grades: (NZ)-42, (NZ)-40, (NZ)-38 according to physical and chemical indicators.
2. The shape and size of high-quality clay brick products conform to the provisions of GB2992-82 "General Refractory Brick Shape and Size". If there is no brick type required by the buyer in the standard, it will be produced according to the drawings of the buyer.
3. The classification of high-quality clay brick products conforms to the provisions of YB844-75 "Classification and Definition of Refractory Products". Generally divided into standard type, general type, special type, special type, and can also be specially made according to user requirements.

Physical and chemical properties of clay refractory bricks
Ordinary clay refractory bricks are generally 1.8-2.0g/cm3, dense clay refractory bricks are generally 2.05-2.20g/cm3, and high-density clay refractory bricks are generally 2.25-2.30g/cm3
The specifications and sizes of clay refractory bricks will vary according to the use of clay refractory bricks. For example, the specifications and sizes of clay refractory bricks used for walls and those used for ground arches are very different. The density of clay refractory bricks also has a lot to do with its material.
The content of Al2O3 in clay bricks is generally more than 40%, and the content of Fe2O3 is less than 2.0~2.5%. The clinker in the ingredients is 65~85%, and the combined clay is 35~15%. The pulverized bound clay and the finely ground clinker are mixed and ground, and then mixed with the granular clinker to make semi-dry mud, high pressure molding, and sintering at about 1400 ℃, with good performance. Product Features:
The refractoriness of high-alumina bricks is higher than that of clay bricks and semi-silica bricks, reaching 1750~1790℃. Composition and characteristics of clay bricks
Clay bricks are aluminum silicate refractory products with an alumina content of 30-40%. Generally used in the drying zone, preheating zone, decomposition zone and cooler of rotary kiln. In recent years, many countries have developed special clay bricks to increase their refractory temperature on the premise of maintaining resistance to alkali erosion.
Qualified blast furnace clay bricks are the phosphoric acid impregnated products after drying treatment, vacuum phosphoric acid impregnation and secondary low temperature firing, which are used to build the upper lining of the blast furnace body.
Clay bricks are made from local materials, are cheap, durable, and have the advantages of fire prevention, heat insulation, sound insulation, moisture absorption, etc., and are widely used in civil construction projects.

It is a kind of aluminate cement wrought material based upon calcium aluminate, it is called Aluminate cement when it has been finegrinded to hydraulicity cementing material, its code is CA. castable refractory cement are refractory castables produced by using high-alumina raw materials as aggregates and powders and adding binders. castable refractory cement have high mechanical strength and good thermal shock resistance and abrasion resistance. They are mainly used as linings for boilers, blast furnace hot blast stoves, heating furnaces, ceramic kilns and other kilns.

(1) The amount of cement is low, and the calcium content in the castable is only 1/4-1/3 of the traditional refractory castable. Therefore, the number of low-melting phases in low-cement castables is reduced, so that the high-temperature performance is significantly improved;
(2) The water consumption for construction is low, generally 6-7% of the weight of the castable, so it has high density and low porosity;
(3) It not only has high normal temperature curing strength, but also does not decrease the strength after medium temperature and high temperature treatment, and the strength value is 3-5 times that of traditional refractory castables;
(4) It has good volume stability at high temperature. Although it is an unfired refractory material, its volume shrinkage is small after drying and calcination.

Feature of castable refractory cement:
1. Low cement content in the castable, that is, low calcium oxide content, reduces the generation of low-melting substances in the material, thereby improving the refractoriness, high-temperature strength and slag resistance of the product.
2. The mixing water consumption of the castable is only about half of that of the ordinary castable, so the compactness of the castable is improved and the porosity is reduced.
3. After molding and curing, the generated cement hydrate is less. During heating and baking, there is no leakage of a large amount of water, which reduces the medium temperature strength, and as the temperature rises, the material gradually sinters and the strength continues to increase.
